ratcliffe & knowles still on team?
heard something about them just checking if anyone knows anything

  • At 6:33 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

I think Jordan Reyes is 09.

Why are ratcliffe & knowles even still on any list, forget being so high on this list. Neither of them have improved at all from last season.

  • At 10:27 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

Very true. Ratcliffe and Knowles both seem they are not much improved this year.

    Reyes is a Junior

  • At 2:36 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

both probably off the team for playoffs due to another off court issue.

  • At 11:47 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

Ratcliffe and Knowles are officially done for the season and should have not been on the team at all, Winni has some real coaching problems. All they were worrying about was wins and nothing of the team’s welfare. A win at all costs attitude is a recipe for failure.
The only people that suffered in this case are the players that are left on the team. Shame on winnis coaching staff and the AD for letting it get that out of hand.

  • At 7:39 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

shut the hell up.. coaching staff at winni is great. every player probably goes out and drinks just they got unlucky because someone called the cops.theyll be back next year and smarter and ready to get a state championship

  • At 7:40 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

McKenna didn't even want them back on the team. He was forced to put them on the team.
Shame on you for not getting your facts straight before you post something like this.

  • At 6:10 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

{every player probably goes out and drinks just they got unlucky because someone called the cops} It sounds like you're as misguided as they are. No, not every player does that.
If that is true about Mckenna not wanting them back, then I feel truly sorry for him. He is the first one in line to get the blame. So that makes the people hiding behind him completely spineless. It is not up to the system to raise these kids alone. It’s just supposed to help the parent. I believe that in most other schools it would have been one strike and your out. I’m sure these kids don’t even appreciate how fortunate they where.

  • At 2:12 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

12:33 pm - Nice classy response. What grade did you drop out of school you welfare infested moron?

  • At 2:12 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

The issue is huge. Not the part about the kids drinking, that’s their life. All they are doing is make things a lot harder on them self. Like life is not hard enough.
The part about the school tolerating it as much as they do, that’s huge. It’s shameful.

For all you fools who think doing drugs or drinking is cool and that "everyone" does it.....

    Being STUPID can cost you!

"University of New Hampshire football player Terrance Fox of Piscataway, N.J., has been suspended for the 2009 football season by the NCAA for violating the association's banned substance use policy."

what the "substance" was does not matter. It is that same STUPID mentality that says its ok because everyone else is doing it, that get into the kinds of situations.

You should realize that if you cant keep yourself under control socially AND perform in the classroom, there is no "next level" for you to play at.

Dont believe me?... ask Ryan Bourgeois!

You kids need to learn these lessons before these guy's failures catch you as well !!!

NH Rivals are out of the RAC in Plaistow. Think there is tryouts. Check the RAC website

  • At 2:41 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

o.k. so the knicks and the heat are no longer teams because some of those players have gone to the jayhawks or ma rivals. will there be a nh rival team at rac, a fastbreak team at sportszone, a raiders team, a nashua shamrock team, a falcon team, a sharpshooter team and a seacoast team? maybe 8 17u teams?

  • At 4:49 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

It's to bad these teams are falling apart, just because a couple players want to go to the jayhawks to spend more time on the bench. Even with equal time, it's a lot less than they are use to. And they're paying a lot for that bench time also.

Jayhawks have 10 players on the 17u team. Bayliss, Dean, Stoyle, Bartoldus, Proulx, Nelson, St. Lawrence, Larosa, Pratt, Watson. They are having 2 16 year old teams headed by Spirou, McClung, Mitchell, Oloughlin, Whickey, Green, O'conner, Lombard, Fahmy, Stevens. They had an open gym last night and it was very very good! For all the people that think that Dunham and the Jayahwks are telling the kids they are the man, go to a practice! Monday's and Wednesday nights from 7-9. He told us that all practices are open to the parents and public. He has done a great job of getting all the best talent in the state in one gym!!!

Calm down. Unbelievable?? You gotta get out more.

  • At 9:59 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

They might have talent, but the talent needs to be coached! We will see how the team comes together as a team. Its always hard to get an all star roster to play like one unit! Book is still out on the Jayhawks program.

Alvirne is winning state championships next year!

  • At 8:48 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

I think Alvirnes chance of success is leaving with the seinor class

  • At 9:19 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

Doesn't sound right. Trinity gets their core back and replaces Madol with Madol and Clark with Stevens. Alvirne loses "Big Donn" but hopefully gets Moyen back free from injury. Sounds like a similar matchup to this past season when Alvirne lost twice to the "T" men.

Then again, maybe Laguerre goes prep, the Fitz family reunites as MemDogs, D. Madol, under Hazelton's guidance, transfers to Hazelton's alma mater HS, and Hayden, upset at all these upsets, returns to Central to replace Bayliss. Whoa, what's happenin' here? Responding, C Donn and the Moyen Monster consider applying to up-and-comer BG to ensure success...and West wins it all!!

    12:39 PM

Thats a good question when Ive played against him I thought he had the most talent out of all the sophmores ive played against he could defend and score and make things happen on both ends of the floor and seemed to be a more all around athlete then any of the other sophmores out there he just needs to put on a little more muscle to be a complete player it kind of freaked me out to see him do the tap at the start of the game but when he out jumped our 6-7 center by atleast a good 6 inches i said wow I guess that makes sense considering he has a brother that is top 3 in the counrty in the high jump as a true freshman jumping over 7-2.

    6. Cressy (honorable mention for class I)

  • At 6:25 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

Can't argue with your top 6. There are a lot of good players that aren't on this list but started to make an impact as the season went along. Like Kevin Cressy, Tyler Penney also an all state honorable mention as junior. 6' 7" averaged 25 points a game and 12 rebounds. Had a 42 point game with 19 rebounds. He's still only 16. There isn't a HS in NH he wouldn't start for or be 6th man in.

  • At 6:39 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

Matt Couture also deserves to be on this list as big part of a successful Memorial season that I think surpised a lot of people.

Jordan is on the Mass Rivals and the other 4 are on the NH Rivals.

  • At 5:42 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

What four are you talking about? There is only three listed.

  • At 8:15 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

Tyler Penney of Bishop Brady? You must be out of your mind if you thought he averaged 25 a game. That was probably his season high.

  • At 12:40 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

Season high I believe was 42 with a 36 point game and several games either side of 30 points. Many times he scored nearly half of his team's points. Maybe 25 was second half of season average - either way still shows he has talent. You're entitled to your opinion but Cressy and Mathieu are the only other big men listed here and I think he has as much chance to play basketball beyond HS as many of the top 20 2010 players.

  • At 6:17 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

Correct me if I’m wrong but did Bishop Brady have a record of something like 2-16? If I’m right I would not be bragging about scoring 42 points. Maybe you should learn to pass the ball. I will guarantee you will have a better season if you try it.

  • At 8:47 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

over one third of the top 11 players listed here played for teams with losing records. now anyone who scores points costs their team wins? i suppose you think hojlo, laguerre and cheverfils should have passed the ball more all season too. cheverfils scoring helped memorial beat salem and lack of scoring cost them against trinity. a healthy hojlo and pelham may have won against portsmouth and justin is a good passer but it probably wouldn't have been his passing that would have won the game. and jordan wouldn't be where he is today passing the ball all the time. seems to me his driving and scoring kept trinity in the game against alvirne and his 3 point shot late, along with fitzpatrick's, was the difference.

  • At 9:51 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

Was the game he scored 42 pts a win?

  • At 6:28 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

ummm I have personally witnessed Jordan practice for the rivals at the RAC (rockingham athletic club) along with Carson Desroach (central catholic) d1 offers from GT, MIA, BC, Providence, Jamie Spears, King (pinkerton) Burt, Reyes, the rivals are a legit team run out of the nicest facility in New England.

  • At 6:34 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

carson deroshier isn't playing for the nh rivals though is he? don't couture, hayden and fitzpatrick also play for the rivals? they should be a good team. who is on floras playerz team besides maser and mclean?

  • At 11:29 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

Sweeney and Bintz are on the PlayerZ

  • At 5:50 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

when you dont pass the ball your team does not get any better they just stand around and watch if hojlo gave more shots to spiro or other kids on the team that would have made the team ready to win against portsmouth. remember it was the pierce show before garnett and allen.

  • At 8:33 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

heh buddy, you just lost all credibility by saying Hojlo didn't pass the ball. Besides being the best scorer in the state this year Hojlo was one of the best passers in the state. He constantly set up his team mates with his great passes. Try watching another couple of years of basketball games and then and only then you can consider posting again on a basketball site.

Just stating the obvious the proof was in the finals if you dont have real balance you dont win because there is no one to step up when you get hurt and if im correct you lost. Plus the true test will college bigger faster guys will shut him down period.

  • At 5:28 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

The obvious proof in the finals was that Hojlo had an injured thumb. Nice try junior. Like I said before go watch a few more (lot more) basketball games then you might gain some credibility when you post. Right now, you don't have any credibility, junior.

  • At 7:12 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

Hey I hope your not graduating this year because you definetly need a few more in highschool there junior, what I said was because he was injured and did not huck up a thousand shots as he allways does every game the rest of the players did not know how to take over in the finals after he went down with a thumb injury. so when you learn how to read a post that's when we can talk about credibility.

  • At 4:03 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

Junior, you lost all credibility when you said Hojlo can't pass. He's one of the best passers in the state. Every one who knows basketball knows that, junior, except for you.

  • At 3:42 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

Hojlo was a great NH high scool player, but the first thing he going to have to do for college is get much stronger. Even D3 guards are playing a much much more physical game. He will also get defended well beyond the arc in a way he has not seen in HS.

You can't even say that no players took over the finals. What do you expect when Hojlo goes down? Two sophomores to beat a lineup of 4 seniors and a junior? When Hojlo went down those sophomores made the game close until the final 3 minutes or so when Portsmouh's senior leadership came into play and Mulvey never missing a 3

  • At 4:09 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

portsmouth sucks they struggled against you and I know they only beat a milford squad of sophmores by three so I dont give them much praise for beating any one.

  • At 5:30 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

Boo Hoo truth hurts 6:44 doesnt it. keep believing your team was so good but the truth is what it is. by the way anyone going to school on a scholarship from portsmouth? thats what I thought.

You don't get it you guys suck woopie you beat underclassmen wow what a great accomplishment whats next getting on a 15 aau team and competing yee haa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh by the way you did you not move down a class becuase you couldnt handle bigger schools yee haaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!

  • At 9:45 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

8:58 - You just blew your wad. Portsmouth reclassified to class I many years ago when the Pease Air Force Base closed and half the town moved away leaving Portsmouth with an enrollment of less than 1000. And it's not even the largest school in Class I now. If you're going to bring out your knowledge on class warfare, how about Pembroke, they were in L more recently than Portsmouth. What's their excuse for being in I? Answer: that's what they're eligible for same as Portsmouth. Now, what's your excuse?

  • At 10:22 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

you were the same before the reclassification you sucked then too.

I get the impression that 10:22 and some of you others tryin' to smack down Portsmouth belong to some other town / team that got beat by someone who sucks.

And the creativity of 10:33 suggests that he has a father that puts a tag on all the sheep that kick so his son doesn't get hurt when he's out looking for a good time.

LOL...the amount of ignorance on display here is really staggering.

Fransoso - UMaine - Baseball Scholarship Next year Played in the 2008 Class I state championship game in baseball, 2008 DIII Football championship game and now the 2009 Class I basketball championship. How many athletes in your school have played in a title game in each of the last 3 sport seasons???

Oh yeah, add in the 2008 NH American Legion State title and one game from the AL world Series last summer.

Name even one player in your school with a resume like that!

What is this this BS bout beating up on "younger" kids?

They played their schedule and they WON the title. Period. maybe instead of trashing them, you should be working on your game

It is really possible to make a more ignorant comment?

Obviuosly whoever you are, you know squat about the game. You have not made any statements backing up your position. In fact, the more you post, the more you look like a ten yr old brother of a team that the Clippers pounded into the ground at some point this year.

Exactly what do you mean by saying they beat kids 2 or 3 yrs younger? The team you support had only freshmen and sophomores on it? If that is true, perhaps your foolish comments would be better directed at the juniors and seniors in your school.

In any case, I think everyone here has given you enough attention. Back to the real players!

  • At 11:54 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

Did I hit a nerve? there are atleast four or five teams out there that had more underclassmen playing on varsity in the starting line up then seniors and you barely beat them whats so hard to understand about that? so take the real players and have fun pretending you are good in anyway. Plus like I said where are all the seniors playing college ball next? oh thats right you suck.

You assclown, if a school doesnt have seniors that are good enough to beat out other players, what do you want, a coach ot play them even though they are not as good as a junior or soph?

Your arguments compliment your IQ !

do you have the balls to tell us just what school you attend?

We won the title, if you want to cry about it, come to the school and gaze at trophy case. I'm sure we can have a cry-baby towel ready for you. Your team lost because they were not good enough to beat us. Get over it LOSER!

Cute little boy, Unless you have benliving under a rock, it is common knowledge to anyone who konws anything about NH sports that he going to U Maine to play baseball on a scholarship. The fact he was also a quarterback that took his team to the champoionship game AND point guard on a state titleteam shows just how complete an athlete he is.

Who at your school can claim anything even close to what he has done ? Certainly you cant!!!

hey, did you even win a little league championship, or maybe you managed to get a rec. basketball title. Nah, that means you would have actually played, I think we all know you hav enever even stepped on the court.

If you have ever played at the Mass Premier Courts in Foxboro, the Picadily Pub & Restuarant is just a couple of miles away on one of the main roads in that area. Its a place wher many familes of the players go for a meal when theor teams are playing down there.

If you dont know about it, then you obviously have not played there. You are hardly a stakler to see someone there.

Just goes to show you the people on here talking about AAU have no clue. They have obviously never been to a tournament outside of the sportszone or States at UNH to know anything. And the person that says that coaches don't make adjustments in AAU games you obviously never seen a good AAU game. You try and have a bunch of White kids from NH go up against a BABC and actually have a chance of winning the game. All you do is make adjustments to have any chance to compete. You think that the Jayhawks just rolled the ball out vs BABC and said ok guys keep your spacing and we will see what happens???? Come on guy get a clue. You also think that there is no development in AAU practices?? Well go to a Jayahwks practice or a Mass Rivals practice or a Raiders practice and then come on here and post. I hate people that have no clue about what AAU is really about. Do yourself a favor and drive down to Providence RI this weekend and you will see why AAU is better than high school basketball.

To 1:23 pm: jayhawks domination in 2nd half held nh rivals to only 13 points. obviously the defense had a foot on the throat until the final buzzer. nothing wrong with that unless you're playing a friend. looks like a statement game.

  • At 9:04 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

not a statement game. Rivals played well just missed shots probably because of tired legs being 4th or 5th game of weekend and short bench. J Hawks played like they did all weekend just hard all game.

17U Rivals are going to Moop Mountain Tournament at Stonehill instead of States. I don't think Jayhawks will be going either as they have already qualified for Nationals this past weekend at the Super Regionals. Should be a very boring weekend up at UNH in the
    16u and 17u divisions.

  • At 8:27 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

Without Jayhawks the States will be wide open. Like any other tournament all any team can do is play the teams that show up.

Two of them just got written up by NERR under the notable performers in Providence category:

Jasmin Handanovic, New Hampshire Falcons – A tough kid who said he hopes to prep at Notre Dame. He ran the team with composure, showed a nice shooting stroke, and got into the lane going to both directions.

George Tsourgransis, New Hampshire Falcons – Another guy who is hoping to head to prep school for another year of development; Tsougranis plays much bigger than his 6’3” frame inside the lane as he is an absolute beast on the glass.

To both boys, good luck in your future endeavors!

By the way we could have had atleast 3 seniors play college ball, Mulvey had offers, Abrams had offers, they bothed turned them down to go to better schools, and Tsougranis is going prep to try and get better offers. It's time to give these kids that are talented and have a real shot at going to college a chance with a real coach not a blowhard who takes as many kids that want to join a team and never gives them a real chance at playing thanks for that $1000 dumb asses.

  • At 8:37 PM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

Every good coach has a little arrogance, every good coach is a good recruiter, every good coach is a little bit of a blowhard. All of those maybe be a little true about most coaches. What I see in the practices are kids who are use to being coddled being prodded, kids that are use to taking the easy road being pushed harder than they ever have. Throw that in with the very solid offensive sets, the ability to get players to make plays as well as work together and what happens in the Jayhawk gym I think is just what most of these kids need. Is Dunham for everyone no, but what coach is. He pushes, teaches and puts in time to get the most out of the players. Is some of that about elevating his program and in turn getting a chance to coach beyond the current level sure. All of this cannot change the fact that the players are improving and will continue to as the season developes. That you can be sure of.

  • At 3:49 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

Bullshite I have seen both teams play before it's all the same crap you see a bunch of individuals not playing as a team and with their own agenda's and way to much politics and back stabbing going on and that is comming from talking to many of his players not just one or two. This coach thinks he has control of the teams but he's clueless.

  • At 7:41 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

confidence is more important than arrogance and being open-minded is more important than being a blowhard. in fairness to coach dunham he didn't force anyone to play for him and he never said playing time would be equal or that he was the next saviour. the parents have as much to blame if their kids are unhappy because there were already 3 or 4 successful 16u aau teams in place but everyone wanted to jump ship and be part of this uber-experience. don't blame coach dunham, blame the hype.

  • At 8:25 AM , Anonymous Anonymous said...

No I blame any coach out there that make these outragous claims of I will get your kid a college scholarship or I know all these head coaches or I will be having my teams being watched by scouts and people buying into to it is absoulutly ludicrous and thievery at its best!!!
